Overload!

Things are getting tough on me during the past days
but its good that I get enough rest as of this writing(while
creating a package design here in our officework)

Well, here let me share to you my "dear diary" journal



On Devil's Creed:

   We almost finish all the artworks.And we are about to produce
the copies after I put some of the remaining baloons and words including
some staff page..Unfortunately, a sudden technical error has enivetably
occured---my PC have crashed down due to a sudden brown out!Damn Meralco,
they are doing it again and again!And around 10:00 am of
October 21, I decided to postpone the production(what else could I do? the
files are in my computer )Grrrrrrr..All of a sudden, our excitement was also
crashed down!huhuhuhu..I felt down on this one, and its a failure...
a terrible disappointment on my part(anyway, Im not the only one to blame..hehehe).

  But, as of this writing it is nice to see my computer fixed already.My
Officemate taught me to use F8 while my PC is booting..So Im back with my beloved
PC.And the caus of the crashed down is not just becuase of the brown out but because
of the overheat also...

  Anyway, its not the end of the world. Devil's Creed will be release again if
ever there will be related events this year..We are still figuring out what to do in order
to launched this collaborative indie book once again. formally and you are all informed
on this one.And its also advantageous cause I got a lot of time refining the pages in terms
of its graphic content.

  Again for those who are excited and made reservation on this comicbook, we ask for
your apology.Sometimes life is not that easy and as what I have said, unfair.We hope you
will be still there to support us as we try to gamble and test the capacity of this comicbook
in a limited market.

I arrived on the event together with my brother at around 1:00 p.m.
Mike Guisinga is the Firts I saw and I also look for Errol See
to inform and arrange a meeting that our comicbook will be potponed.

I've seen and chat to alot of Artist again!

I am surprised when Nautilus Comics crew still recognized
my thick face..hehehehe They offred me about the distributorship
of my upcoming comicbook : Dugo ng Engkanto..I am now considering
them as one of my prospect publishers...well, just a quick scope on
"Dugo ng Engkanto": Its firts plan was Im going to proposed it first
to certain Publishers, come up with a deal and then decide which of them will
got my interest in terms of proposal.First Come, First serve basis on this
Graphic Novel and of course it will depend on the Terms of Agreement also.
If in case there is no interested publisher, I have no choice but to go indie and
published it on my own.I don't want to further elaborate, But I will surely do my
very best on this one that will totally summarize my contribution Philippine Comics.
and uh, they give us afree comic book entitled:Tritech.

The Firts Thing I bought was Sir Gilbert Monsanto's "Rambol Comics"!
The comic book is a blast and made me more inspired again.Rambol is recommended to ]
all.It's like a de ja vu.My Childhood local Superheroes are here.If you
are familiar with "Digmaan" of Gilbert Monsanto..Rambol is another version that
will take you back in time.The characters inclue Robie, Cybernaut, Biotrog and some sort of
" Bad Kampeon."  On its Flip book, Alagad Inc..will blow your
eyes away when one of those minions of the so called   "Bathala" destroyed a super billion
priced Mall in the Philippines and announce a challenge that will threat the very existence   
of Human Kind.Alagad Inc.  will be the one to handle this crisis.The introductory
widespread page will blow your eyes away..The artist on this one deserve my Admiration.

I went to the booth of the POINT ZERO.Where Taga-ilog aka Melvin Calingo(Pasig) was doing some
sketches for his Fans.When I got the chance, I pested him and he still remembers his reservation on
Genesis Issue 1.And told me he will get his reservation in exchange for their copy of "Fresh Comics".
What an honor Man! I think it would be enough for me to know that we still have this friendship even there is
some differences that shaken us(hehehe)..I will be doing a separate review for their comicbook
here in my deviant journals soon!

Another comicbook I wanted to recommend is Randy Valiente's "DIOSA HUBADERA"..this was in PDF Format
and with 115 pages..I really like the way Randy Delivered this Graphic Novel and I was touch by the story.
Im also planning to have a separate review on this one.Randy Valiente is a good Artist at the same time novelist!
I agree with him that this is toatlly a revolutuionary one and is differnt than the other usual comics
we wanted to read.Suggested for mature readers.

I also bought Reno Maniquiz's MASSKARADO.aND again it left me more inspired.! Reno keeps me more interested on
what will happen to the new Maskarado on duty! RECOMMENDED!

Unfortunately the casualty was Sir Gerry Alanguilan's Elmer 2.Before I realized that I bought many comics and
left me no budget around, I was not able to buy Elmer 2 in which I always anticipate. I decided not to buy coz I already
don't have my travel expense in order for me to goback to my home.hehehe..Shame on me.But wait, Im going to baught it in
Megamall anyway..And I also wanted to ahve separate review on Elmer 1 and 2..Guarantees reflection for all of us!

I wanted to buy all the Komiks but I got no Money Anymore!Damn budget..I always ended broken..Grrrr..

I also went to the Blitxworx stand and talk to one of its editor and Blitxworx is also my future preference in publishing Dugo
ng Engkanto.

One thing that fascinates me is that there is a lot of Indie creators attended in this event..And is a
good indication that there still hope for Philippine Comics.

Seriously, Komikon 2006 made me think and left me many questions inside of me, which will be
written  here in my Journal in the upcoming Days...A lot of observAtions and Realizations
that will diffinitely affect my decisions and propositions.

TO ARTISTS' DEN:

How I wish I could hang around with you guys...I am still confuse with my membership with you
and Im hoping to clear it up soon..Anyway, Thanks for the space you have given to us
though we did'nt made it.And most specially CONGRATULATIONS! The event was a total Blast!
Organizing Komikon 2006 is not a joke and you deserve to be respected Guys!

Especially, I wanted to hang around with Komikeros but I only got a little time.I
was actually overwhelmed and preoccupied by the event...My Dear Komikeros And Sir Gerry..
BABAWI AKO SA INYO SA SUSUNOD.

To my friend Eric Dimaala, how I wish we talked a lot,But I am really preoccupied that
time and I lacked sleep that's why I talked like an Idiot..hehehe

And Hey, to Blue Fusion! Im sorry if you cannot contact me, my cellphone is dead up to this
moment.Maybe next time..heheh
