CITY OF HEROES in d.a.!

First of , I would like to congratulate =angbayani for spearheading this super group in deviantart. AWESOME Work and totally rocks.

And of Course, A Big Thanks for adding me in their Artist Alley roster and honorary member.I feel honored and obliged(lol) to contribute my part.

Around March 2007 when I was first introduce by my friend ~TheIcyOne into the world of City
of Heroes. This pave way to a lot of Commission Request I recieved from the community in contrast to a number of comic/ illustartion commissions I got since 2005. There, I then meet *ThorsAssassin,*MarDun and so many others to mention (You know who you are)!

Working with a lot of people in City of Heroes is a great Milestone in my part as I was introduce to a lot of character creators online just like me that later on sparked friendship among with them.

So yeah, people! ADD to your watchlist, bookmarks or anything else and experience a whole new world of superheroes online! If you were playing the game, or a fan of it, or an artist/ writer who was commissioned, become a member.

Im also checking the archieves of my deviantart gallery, please feel free to ask me if one of
my artworks need to be posted in the gallery. I have lots of them and Im starting to check them out from the very start of my first City of Heroes Commissions way back 2007. I will also ask each owner of characters if nescessary.

More Photos of The San Pablo Comics Festival

I arrived on this event at around 1:00 p.m. because its almost 2 hours from Pasig City to San Pablo City plus a little slight problem we encountered when we commute through a bus. But it all paid off when we are about to be welcomed by the cool air and embracing nature of Sampalok Lake and the excitement to see the event with fellow artists and comics creators.

A lot of comics superstars attended the Comics festival that seems to be a Comic Convention,
on the area you will see *guisadong-gulay, *gammaknight ,~harveytolibao, ~sjsegovia , ~randyvaliente, =nerp, ~edtadeo,~boysoltero, ~ernestj23, ROD ESPINOSA and so many others! There are also a lot of great comics creator present on the event.

Congratulations To , Johnny Danganan and To all KOMIKEROS for making this event possible. Im looking forward fOr this next year.

EFREN PEÑAFLORIDA : A HERO INSIDE US

I learned a lot from Efren Peñaflorida. Here are some excerpts from his acceptance speech of being choosen as CNN's Hero of The Year 2009:

"Our planet is filled with heroes, young and old, rich and poor, man, woman of different colors, shapes and sizes. We are one great tapestry,"

"Each person has a hidden hero within, you just have to look inside you and search it in your heart, and be the hero to the next one in need.

"So to each and every person inside in this theater and for those who are watching at home, the hero in you is waiting to be unleashed. Serve, serve well, serve others above yourself and be happy to serve. As I always tell to my co-volunteers ... you are the change that you dream as I am the change that I dream and collectively we are the change that this world needs to be."

Moving and Passionate! Efren proves it further more when he gives away the $100,000 price: 90% cash grant will go to Dynamic Teen Company which facilitates their vision, mission, programs and projects. 10% will go thechurch…. Nothing for him. Wow. If only all the politicians here in the Philippines are like him....

"Serve, serve well, serve others above yourself and be happy to serve." as per quoted from him by CNN.

Another awesome quote can be found in his Facebook account:
"To be in line with such great spirits is an awesome experience. CNN Heroes for me is not competing against each other but working together for a better world. I'm honored to be with all of them: the 28 equally honorable CNN HEROES finalists this year."

MABUHAY KA EFREN! THANKS TO ANOTHER INSPIRATION YOU HAVE GIVEN TO US, NOT ONLY TO FILIPINOS BUT FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD.

Wow. 2 years ago, I remembered how nervous and excited am I when Chesca was about to
go out in the open world! [link]

Not a long time ago, I always carry her to sleep (and sometime I am force to sing lullabies to make here sleep), now she can do it by herself even wearing her dress! She dances, run, play,split, talk alien words, override me in my PC to watch her pictures, cries when I don't play with her.Time Really Fly fast!Parenthood is hard but its very sweet and rewarding! What a Joy.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY to my Daughter FRANCHESCA ARCHAEA BECARO!
