Here's Neytiri of the "Avatar" movie.

Taking a break from doing comics projects and commissions.

Here I am practicing my digital painting skill. I seldom use
white as highlights when doing digital painting , but i use it a lot when doing oil paintings way back. Been lazy to refine this out, So I thought to just post it here. I failed on the hair part, my primary plan was make it like "blown by the wind" , but it looks stiff.lol. Though it was fun experimenting the hair, I failed doing the "cornrow" style, so it turn outs "dreadlock" iin the end.lol

very nice details.
and tip on how to make the hair look all "blown away with the wind" instead of making the back strands stick out more, make the front strands blow away more. that way it makes it look like the wind is blowing in her face instead of at the back of her head.
